- Although he is marked as hostile if the player starts shooting Leather Jerks, killing him will annoy Pistol Pete.
- His line "I for one welcome our new Leather Jerk overlords. Mr. O Biggun and Mr. Dangler are just the kind of visionaries this town needs" may be a reference to a popular line from The Simpsons.
- When you defeat the Jerks, he leaves town.
- The Glass Gecko Bong can be traded to him if he is still in town.
