The Holy Detonation Cult is a faction in Wasteland 3.

Orginally, an offshoot of the Servants of the Mushroom Cloud, the Holy Detonation Cult is dedicated to the worship of the eponymous idol: a nuclear detonation frozen in stasis a split second after detonation.
Cut content[ | ]
The Holy Detonation cult was cut from the game, alongside with the location of Air Force Academy Ruins. However, it was later reintroduced in the Cult of the Holy Detonation DLC.
Cult of the Holy Detonation[ | ]
The cult members are divided into two factions, the Primordialists and the Nucleists. Both factions are at war with each other, and while the Nucleists are hostile towards the player, the Primordialists are friendly and offer quests and trade items.
