Laurie is Ellen's daughter, and can be found sitting in a her wheelchair at the Stagecoach Inn room #18 in Quartz.

Background[edit | edit source]

Laurie is the 20-year old daugther of Ellen. She sits in a wheelchair and lives in room #18 at the Stage Coach Inn in Quartz. When you approach her she want to make sure that you can be trusted and asks you what you have said to her mother or what she said to you. So you can answer URABUTLN (You are a beauty, Ellen) or URAQT2 (You are a cutie, too).

Interactions[edit | edit source]

  • Use the Room key #18 on the door of room #18 to open it. You'll find Laurie in this room. Tell her the password (URABUTLN or URAQT2, both will work) and she tells you that the hostages are the 3rd floor of the Courthouse. You also gives you the password to the Courthouse (MUERTE) and gives you some weapons, ammo and money to help you free the town.
  • If you break the door to room #18 with explosives then Laurie is killed by a spear of wood protruding from her throat. She glares at you as she dies and says "You would have done better with my help, were you more sensible".
  • If you give Laurie the wrong password then she wants you to give her a Servo motor for her wheelchair to get her help.
  • If you picklock Laurie's door then she warns you to step inside and gives you two chances to convice her not to shoot you. You can use the Charisma attribute or the Confidence skill to convice her. But if you simply step into the room instead then she throws a grenade at you and then attacks you. After the fight you realize that she was a 20-year old woman in a wheelchair. She glares at you as she dies and says "You would have done better with my help, were you more sensible".
