Payback is a quest cut from Wasteland 3. It would have involved saving Inspector Delgado from the Odinkirks, assassins working for Faran Brygo, after deciding to shut down Little Vegas. Delgado would disappear from the Ranger Armory, asking them to meet him at the nightclub. From there, the Rangers would have to race to the Air Force Academy Ruins, as the Odinkirks would torture Delgado on air, cutting off various body parts and eventually killing him on air. The Rangers would have to race to save him, while also choosing whether to save Delgado's wife and daughter (wired to explosives by the Odinkirks) or just go straight for their officers.

Payback Meet Delgado at the abandoned nightclub. Infiltrate the Odinkirks' hideout and save Delgado. UNUSED UNUSED UNUSED We received a frantic, terrified radio call from Delgado, our Armory Officer. He says that some particularly nasty assassins - the Odinkirks, who once worked for Faran Brygo - are coming for him. He asked us to meet him at the abandoned nightclub to help get him and his family out of the city before the Odinkirks find him. Delgado asked us to meet him at the Little Vegas Nightclub in Downtown Colorado Springs The Odinkirks said they're holding Delgado at their hideout at the old AIr Force Academy. We should go find them. We heard the Odinkirks kill Delgado over the radio, after a long and horrific torturing, also broadcast over the radio. Delgado was killed as we attempted to recover him from the Odinkirks. We'll need find a new Armory Officer. We defeated the Odinkirks and saved Delgado. We looked for Delgado at Ranger HQ, but he was already gone. Some of the other Rangers commented on his sudden, harried departure The Odinkirks had already captured Delgado and his family. Delgado's been brought back to their hideout at the Air Force Academy, but his family has been tied up to bombs here. We were able to save Delgado's Family. Now, let's try to save Delgado.
