Waste pit is a location in Needles. The Waste pit is located in the south west of Needles.
Overview[ | ]
The former ICBM silo is now just a burned out shell used by the town as a waste dump.
Dried blood covers the floor. The concrete walls are burned and blackened as if there was once a great fire here. You see torn shreds of bloodstained clothes laying all over the floor. This room looks as if many sacrificial murders have taken place here. As you walk down to Level 2, the steps echo hollowly.

Notes[ | ]
- The barrel-like tile in the bottom level is irradiated. The Pit Ghoul may also do this to the square he dies on.
- In the far southwest, you can find a nice cache of gear, including M1989A1 rifles and Rad suits.
- It is nearly impossible to open the doors in here using Picklock or other skills. TNT may be your best way to get through. With Strength 28 it is possible to force the doors open even with bare hands, but it is not recommended to wait that long because Rad suits are much more valuable in the early game.
