You have saved the world - or at least this small piece of it. Setting off Min's cobbled-together nuke inside Ranger Citadel destroyed the AI and all its minions, and prevented its source code from broadcasting and propagating to other computers, robots and augmented humans. The AI's robotic future has been prevented. Unfortunately, the explosion has also made Ranger Citadel an uninhabitable irradiated hell-pit for the next few centuries, which means the Desert Rangers are once again looking for a new home. Until they find one, they have set up a temporary headquarters at the site of Ace's murder, using the radio tower there as their means of communication, and have ironically dubbed the place the new Ranger Citadel. Successfully detonate the nuke at the Ranger Citadel before the AI finishes its Ascension Speech. Counts as a Ranger victory. (Canon Ending)
Well, that was unfortunate. The nuke you set off in Flintlock's library may have been small, but it was enough to kill everyone inside Ranger Citadel, thus ending the Desert Rangers as an institution and a force for stability in the wastes. Still, another group might have stepped up and become the next guardians of civilization and protectors of the downtrodden, except for the fact that three weeks later, an army of synths and mechanically enhanced humans from California invaded Arizona and killed everyone who did not immediately swear fealty to their leader, the synthetic messiah, Matthias. Oops. Detonate the Davy Crockett nuke in the Ranger Museum.
Such a shame. It appears you put your faith in a faithless messiah. Your loyalty to Matthias has been rewarded with nuclear treachery, and your irraditated atoms are now gently blowing north toward Los Angeles, where you will rain down on the bodies of the countless victims of your genocidal slaughter and become part of the background radiation for centuries to come. Meanwhile, in Arizona, the unprepared Desert Rangers have been slaughtered and enslaved by Matthias, and the people of the wasteland are being crushed beneath the metal tide of his army of synths and mechanically enhanced humans. Side with Matthias in Los Angeles and carry out all of his commands, cleansing the Californian wasteland.
You saved your lives, but lost the world. Your failure to find and detonate the nuclear bomb allowed the AI's source code to broadcast and propagate to other computers, robots and augmented humans all over Arizona, and it soon controlled them all, and continued to corrupt more with each passing second. The rangers and the citizens of the wasteland made a valiant attempt to stamp out each infected machine and human, but the code spread too fast and they were quickly outnumbered and destroyed. You and your companions were banished for your cowardice, and now may be the last humans alive for a thousand miles. The synths haven't found you yet, but they will. They are immortal. They have all the time in the world. Escape the Ranger Citadel without detonating the nuke in Tan's lab.
Your failure to find and detonate the nuclear bomb in time allowed the AI's source code to broadcast and propagate to other computers, robots and augmented humans all over Arizona, and it soon controlled them all, and continued to corrupt more with each passing second. The rangers and citizens outside Ranger Citadel made a valiant attempt to stamp out each infected machine and human, but the code spread too fast, and they were soon outnumbered and destroyed. You and your companions, trapped since then inside the citadel, may now be the last humans alive for a thousand miles. The synths haven't bothered to exterminate you yet, but they will. They are immortal. They have all the time in the world. Allow the Cochise AI to finish its Ascension Speech before detonating the nuke.

Sacrifice[ | ]

Image Text Prerequisites
Sadly, Vargas's sacrifice has robbed Arizona of one of its most experienced, effective leaders, and though the rangers will certainly survive and the wastes recover without him, the future will likely not be the peaceful, prosperous place it might have been had he lived to guide it to greatness. If Vargas survives the battle with Matthias and his synths, allow him to stay behind and press the button. (Canon Ending, confirmed by General Woodson)
Sadly, your decision to allow yourself and everyone in your party to die in the blast has robbed the wasteland of some of its best rangers and brightest leaders - men and women who could have contributed greatly to the rebuilding to follow. The Desert Rangers will certainly survive without you, and the wastes will recover, but the future will likely not be the peaceful, prosperous place it could have been had you and your companions lived to guide it to greatness. Detonate the nuke without leaving anyone behind to press the button.
Additionally, Kekkahbah's noble sacrifice has set an example for peace and cooperation between the various groups and tribes of the wasteland, and communities have begun working more closely together to rebuild Arizona and keep the flame of civilization burning in his name. His sacrifice also allowed you and your party to escape death, and your hard-won skills and experience are helping guide the wastes to a more peaceful, prosperous future. If Kekkabah is available at the staging area, allow him to stay behind and press the button.
Additionally, your noble sacrifice has set an example for peace and cooperation between the various groups and tribes of the wasteland, and communities have begun working more closely together to rebuild Arizona and keep the flame of civilization burning in your name. Your sacrifice also allowed the rest of your party to escape death, and their hard-won skills and experience are helping guide the wastes to a more peaceful, prosperous future. Have one of the Rangers sacrifice themselves to press the button.

Agricultural center[ | ]

Image Text Prerequisites
Thanks to your timely intervention, Ag Center is recovering from the outbreak of mutant plant and insect growth that threatened to destroy it, and is once again distributing much needed fresh produce to communities across Arizona. There is still much rebuilding to be done, but because of you no-one is going hungry, and the future of farming in Arizona is looking brighter every day. Save the agricultural center and fulfill all of the objectives. (Canon Ending, confirmed in No Way Home.)[1]
The loss of Ag Center has been a great blow to both the wasteland and the Desert Rangers. Without the fresh produce that Matt Forrestal and his team once distributed across Arizona, many communities are starving, and raiders are now stealing carrots and tomatoes the way they used to steal guns and ammo. Even the rangers are feeling the pinch, with many teams going out on patrol fortified with with nothing but half portions of rat soup. In addition, outbreaks of the mutant plant and insect growth are flaring up all over the wastes, turning towns and farms into nightmare jungles. Many mourn the deaths of Matt and his chief scientist Kathy Lawson, as well as all the other researchers and farmers who were lost during the destruction. Do not save the agricultural center.
Indeed, Matt was so grateful for your assistance that, before he went off to join the battle for Ranger Citadel, he specified that they should receive an additional discount on the produce Ag Center delivers to them, and his wishes continue to be honored after his death.

His passing has been mourned by the rangers and everyone at Ag Center, and he was buried at the new Ranger Citadel with full ranger honors.

Save the agricultural center, develop a cure for the pod infection, allow Matt Forrestal to die at the Citadel.
Indeed, Matt is so grateful that he has given the rangers an additional discount on the produce he delivers to the rangers. Even Kathy feels more kindly to the rangers these days. Save the agricultural center, develop a cure for the pod infection, do not allow Matt to die at the Citadel.
Meanwhile, Rose, who despite her synthetic arm and heart was not taken over by the AI because you stopped it from broadcasting outside of Ranger Citadel, has been experimenting on the remains of the deadly exploding seed pods, and is getting very close to developing an organic hand grenade. Leave Rose outside the party before the final confrontation, do not allow the AI to finish its Ascension Speech.
Unfortunately, your failure to save Matt Forrestal has left relations strained between Ag Center and the Rangers. Though they are grateful to you for saving the facility, they do not love you there, and Kathy is openly hostile. Save the agricultural center, but do not develop a cure for the pod infection.
Meanwhile, Rose, who despite her synthetic arm and heart was not taken over by the AI because you stopped it from broadcasting outside of Ranger Citadel, has been experimenting on the remains of the deadly exploding seed pods, and is getting very close to developing an organic hand grenade, but she has shown no interest in sharing her discovery with the rangers. Save the agricultural center, but do not develop a cure for the pod infection.
But the death of Matt and Kathy has negated all the good will you might have generated at Ag Center. The survivors have barred the doors against you and cut off all relations with the rangers, and without Matt and Kathy's guidance, research has stalled and recovery is slower than it should be. Kill Matt and Kathy, save the agricultural center.
Not even Rose is around to help. Despite the fact that your destruction of the AI saved her mind from being taken over, she could not find it in her heart to forgive the rangers, and vanished soon after Ag Center was saved, taking samples from the mutant plants with her. She hasn't been seen since. Kill Matt and Kathy, save the agricultural center.
Unfortunately, your undisciplined slaughter of innocents while regaining control of Ag Center has turned the survivors against you, and they have broken all ties with the Rangers, leaving the ranger kitchen low on food. Kill civilians at the agricultural center, save the agricultural center.
Indeed, you have heard rumors that Ag Center is working for the Red Skorpion Militia now. Kill civilians at the agricultural center, leave the Red Skorpions hostile with the Rangers.
Indeed, you have heard rumors that Ag Center is working for the Diamondback Militia now. Kill civilians at the agricultural center, have the Red Skorpions ally with the Rangers.
Thanks to your self-serving actions at Ag Center, the facility is dying. Though shutting down the irrigation pumps slowed the spread of the mutant plants and insects, it did not stop them, and they are slowly tearing the place apart. Unable to hold off the inevitable, the researchers have abandoned Ag Center and are no longer distributing fresh produce to Arizona. Consequently, many communities are starving, and raiders are now stealing carrots and tomatoes the way they used to steal guns and ammo. Even the rangers are feeling the pinch, with many teams going out on patrol fortified with nothing but half portions of rat soup. Shut down the irrigation, but do not do anything else to help.
Matt Forrestal and Kathy Lawson are determined to start a new Ag Center somewhere else, hoping to rekindle the dream of a brighter future for Arizona, but while Matt is grateful that you helped save his life, he and Kathy no longer have any confidence in the Desert rangers, and are looking elsewhere for protection. It looks like the rangers are going to have to find another source for fresh food. Develop a cure for the pod infection, but do not save the agricultural center.
Kathy Lawson is determined to start a new Ag Center somewhere else, hoping to rekindle the dream of a brighter future for Arizona, but the death of Matt Forrestal has left her with even less confidence in the Desert Rangers, and she looking elsewhere for protection. It looks like the rangers are going to have to find another source for fresh food. Don't save the ag center, don't develop the cure for the pod infection.
With the death of both Matt and Kathy, the surviving researchers and farmers have scattered across the wastes, and the dream of a brighter future for Arizona that Ag Center embodied is dead. It looks like the Rangers are going to have to find another source for fresh food. Allow Matt and Kathy to die, don't save the ag center, don't develop the cure for the pod infection.

Unfortunately, your undisciplined slaughter of innocents while regaining control of Ag Center has turned the survivors against the Desert Rangers, and they have broken all ties with the Rangers, leaving the Ranger kitchen low on food. Don't save the ag center, kill civilians at the center.
Indeed, you have heard rumors that the survivors are working with the Red Skorpion Militia to build a new facility. Don't save the ag center, kill civilians at the center, leave the RSM hostile.

In addition to saving Ag Center, your thorough cleansing of Knottsburg, the Shiitake Mushroom Farms, and Stubbin's Farm, has spared the wasteland any further outbreaks of mutant plant and insect growth, and the citizens of those communities remain firm supporters of the desert rangers. Place the ag center serum in the nutrient vats at all three locations.
Despite saving Ag Center, your failure to stop all three outbreaks of mutant plant and insect growth has led to sacttered infestations across the wastes, and the citizens of Arizona remain on alert for the appearance of strange seeds or the distant buzz of flies. Place the ag center serum in the nutrient vats at two or fewer locations.
Though you failed to save Ag Center, your thorough cleansing of Knottsburg, the Shiitake Mushroom Farms, and Stubbin's Farm, has lessened the number of outbreaks of mutant plant and insect growth in the wastes, and the citizens of those communities remain firm supporters of the desert rangers. Don't save the ag center, put the ag center serum in the nutrient vat at all three locations.
Your failure to stop all three outbreaks of mutant plant and insect growth has only added to the chaos stemming from your loss of Ag Center. More and more infestations are cropping up across the wastes, and the citizens of Arizona live in fear of strange seeds and the distant buzz of flies. Don't save the ag center, put the serum in two vats or fewer.

Highpool[ | ]

Image Text Prerequisites
The destruction of Highpool has been a calamity for the water-poor Arizona wastes, and has damaged the reputation of the Desert Rangers as well. Without Highpool's regular deliveries of clean water, many communities are going thirsty and watching their crops wither to ash. Now farmers with nothing to eat are turning to banditry, and bloody conflicts are raging over the ownership of the few remaining springs and wells. Even the Desert Rangers are feeling the pinch, with many teams going out on patrol with empty canteens and cracked lips. Many mourn Katie Preston and Sean Bergin, opposites in so many ways, but united in their determination to keep Highpool alive, and now united in death. Don't save Highpool. (Canon Ending, confirmed by Angela Deth in No Way Home.)[2]
Despite all your efforts in Highpool, your failure to wipe out the Wrecking Crew at their camp allowed the wreckers to return and finish what they started, destroying both the town and the reservoir. This has been a calamity for the water-poor Arizona wastes and has damaged the reputation of the Desert Rangers as well. Save Highpool, but leave the Wrecking Crew alive at their camp.
Thanks to your timely intervention and thoroughness in Highpool - saving their irrigation system and decisively defeating the Wrecking Crew - the fortified town's safety has been assured and its reservoirs remain strong and secure, insuring that the Arizona wastes will have plentiful drinking water and irrigation for the foreseeable future. Save Highpool, prevent the reservoir from exploding, wipe out the Wrecking Crew.
Sadly, all the credit for your good works is being attributed to the late Sean Bergin, who the citizens of Highpool are also calling the martyred savior of the rangers, bacause of his heroic death during the battle for Ranger Citadel.

In honor of his memory, Highpool has elected a new mayor just as biased toward the RSM as Bergin was, and though the treaty with the RSM means that Highpool should be friendly to the rangers, they still hold a grudge, and are shorting the new Ranger Citadel on water deliveries every chance they get.

Save Highpool, allow Sean Bergin to be elected mayor and die at the Ranger Citadel.
Sadly, all the credit for your good works is now being claimed by the new mayor, Sean Bergin, and his allies, the Red Skorpion Militia, and Highpool has severed all ties with the Desert Rangers, meaning that, while everyone else has plenty to drink, the Rangers are having to beg for water from the communities they protect. Save Highpool, allow Sean Bergin to be elected mayor, don't let him die at the Ranger Citadel.
And tensions are even higher between the rangers and the Red Skorpion Militia because of Bergin's claims that you dug up the grave of a young boy named Bobby, who a previous generation of rangers had killed fifteen years before. Because of this atrocity, the RSM are calling for the Desert Rangers to turn you over to them for justice. Save Highpool, allow Sean Bergin to be elected mayor, don't let him die at the Ranger Citadel, dig up Bobby's grave.
Additionally, Bergin has blamed you for the drowning death of Vulture's Cry, and her tribe has vowed vengeance against the Desert Rangers because of it. Save Highpool, allow Sean Bergin to be elected mayor, don't let him die at the Ranger Citadel, allow Vulture's Cry to drown.
Bergin also executed Vulture's Cry, claiming she was a spy for the Wrecking Crew, and hung her corpse from the walls as a warning to other raiders. Save Highpool, allow Sean Bergin to be elected mayor, don't let him die at the Ranger Citadel, do not release Vulture's Cry.
Seeing how the wind was blowing, Vulture's Cry, who you rescued from Bergin's jail, slipped out of Highpool and made her way back to her own lands, resolving never to return to Arizona. Release vulture's Cry, but do not recruit her.
The allegations that you gave cigarettes to minors has also come back to haunt you, with Bergin and the Red Skorpion Militia claiming that the Desert Rangers are corrupting children, and demanding your resignation. Save Highpool, allow Sean Bergin to be elected mayor, don't let him die at the Ranger Citadel, give cigarettes to the Highpool juvies.

Save Highpool, allow Sean Bergin to be elected mayor, don't let him die at the Ranger Citadel, set up a treaty with the RSM, give cigarettes to Highpool juvies.
And with new mayor Katie Preston in charge now, relations between Highpool and the Rangers have improved dramatically, with increased patrols in the Highpool area, and more frequent deliveries of fresh water to the rangers. Save Highpool, allow Kate Preston to be elected mayor.
There is still some bitterness, however, over the fact that you dug up little Bobby's grave, and Katie is calling for the Rangers to publicly reprimand you and make restitution to Highpool for the atrocity. Save Highpool, allow Kate Preston to be elected mayor, dig up Bobby's grave.
And while you did not see fit to rescue Vulture's Cry for Bergin's jail, freeing her was Katie's first act as mayor, and she subsequently made her way back to her own lands, resolving never to return to Arizona. Save Highpool, allow Kate Preston to be elected mayor, do not release Vulture's Cry.
Meanwhile, after you freed her from Bergin's Jail, Vulture's Cry approached Katie Preston and finally achieved her goal of establishing a trade agreement with Highpool. Save Highpool, allow Kate Preston to be elected mayor, release Vulture's Cry, but do not recruit her.
Finally, the allegations that you gave cigarettes to minors has also come back to haunt you, with the parents of Highpool claiming that the Desert Rangers are corrupting children, and demanding your resignation. Save Highpool, allow Kate Preston to be elected mayor, give cigarettes to juvies.

While Highpool is promising water for life to any militia who wants the job of protecting the fortified town. Save Highpool, kill civilians in the process, have the RSM ally with the Rangers.

Rail Nomads[ | ]

Image Text Prerequisites
Thanks to your help, the peace between the Topekans and the Atchisons is already paying great dividends. The network of rails is expanding every day and the train is making regular rounds, carrying people and cargo all over Arizona. At the same time, engineers are working around the clock to get the second engine repaired and running again. The renaissance of rail is rapidly become a reality. Reconcile the Topekans and the Atchisons. (Canon Ending, confirmed by La Loca and in No Way Home)
Turning over that turtle triggered a series of events that, three years later, will cause robots to appear and kill everyone in Rail Nomad. Flip over the turtle at the camp. Currently unimplemented.
Because you left that turtle on its back, you prevented a series of events that would have caused robots to appear three years later and kill everyone in Rail Nomad. Don't flip over the turtle. Currently unimplemented.
Thanks to your help, the Topekans are in full control of Rail Nomad and no longer have the Atchisons to blame for their troubles. Sadly, that does not mean their troubles are over. Though they have conscripted - some would say enslaved - an army of hobos and junkies to lay new tracks and repair old ones, the expansion of their rail system is going slowly, and the work is dangerously shoddy. The trains are running, but service is so limited that nobody is using it, and the Topekans are rapidly going broke. Wipe out the Atchisons, leave the Topekans in power.
Making their recovery even slower is the lack of manpower caused by your reckless slaughter of innocents while you were helping them win their war with the Atchisons. Though they couldn't have succeeded without your help, your casual attitude toward colateral damage has left a bad taste in their mouths and they have broken all ties with the Rangers. Consequently, you know nothing of what has become of the survivors, since nobody is telling you anything. Wipe out the Atchisons, leave the Topekans in power, kill civilians in the Topekan camp.
With the Rail Thieves' camp empty after you drove them away, the Topekans have turned the area into a forced labor camp where the conscripted hobos and junkies make ties and rails for their train tracks. Wipe out the Atchisons, leave the Topekans in power, wipe out the rail thieves' camps.
The continued presence of the Rail Thieves has hampered expansion of the Topekans' rail network. Their constant theivery has slowed everything to a standstill and the Topekans are calling for help from mercenaries and militias to get rid of them. Wipe out the Atchisons, leave the Topekans in power, don't wipe out the rail thieves' camps.
Thanks to your help, the Atchisons are in control of Rail Nomad and no longer have the Topekans to blame for their troubles. Sadly, that does not mean their troubles are over. Though they are rapidly expanding their network of rails, they killed all the Topekan engineers and therefore there is no-one to drive the trains. They have put out a call for qualified engineers, but so far no-one has answered, and meanwhile the trains are not running and they are going broke. Soon they will be poorer than they were before their victory. Wipe out the Topekans, leave the Atchisons in charge.
Making their recovery even slower is the lack of manpower caused by your reckless slaughter of innocents while you were helping them win their war with the Topekans. Though they couldn't have succeeded without your help, your casual attitude toward collateral damage has left a bad taste in their mouths and they have broken all ties with the Rangers. Consequently, you know nothing of what has become of the survivors, since nobody is telling you anything. Wipe out the Topekans, leave the Atchisons in charge, kill civilians at the camp.
With the Rail Thieves' camp empty after you drove them away, the Atchisons are using the area as a work yard for building ties and forging rails, dramatically speeding up their production. Wipe out the Topekans, leave the Atchisons in charge, wipe out the rail thieves.
The continued presence of the Rail Thieves has slowed expansion of the Atchisons' rail network, and the Atchisons are calling for help from mercenaries and militias to get rid of them. Wipe out the Topekans, leave the Atchisons in charge, don't wipe out the rail thieves.
Murdering both Kekkahbah and Casey James has left the Rail Nomad camp in an even worse state than it was before. With both sides leaderless, the feud has devolved into a chaotic free for all, and slaughter is a daily occurence on both sides. Needles to say, the few survivors have no love for the rangers, and consequently, you know nothing of recent events, since nobody is telling you anything. Kill both Kekkahbah and Casey James
It is not, however, as rapid as it could be. Because of your reckless slaughter of innocents while you were helping the two sides come together, there is a grave lack of manpower in both camps, and though they couldn't have reached an agreement without your help, your casual attitude toward collateral damage has left a bad taste in their mouths and Rail Nomad has broken all ties with the Rangers. Consequently, you know nothing of what has become of the survivors, Establish peace between the Topekans and the Atchisons, kill civilians at the rail nomands' camp.
With the Rail Thieves' camp empty since you drove them away, Rail Nomad is using the area as a work yard for building ties, forging rails, and repairing damaged train cars, dramatically speeding up their production Reconcile the Atchisons and the Topekans, wipe out the rail thieves.
The continued presence of the Rail Thieves has slowed expansion of Rail Nomad's rail network, and the town is calling for help from mercenaries and militias to get rid of them. Reconcile the Atchisons and the Topekans, don't wipe out the rail thieves.
Fortunately, even though Casey James died helping the ranges in the battle for Ranger Citadel, the peace between the topekans and the Atchisons ramins in effect, with Kekkahbah taking over as chief of both tribes and promising to honor Casey's memory and follow his selfless example. Reconcile the Atchisons and the Topekans, and Casey James dies in the final battle. (will also show if Kekkahbah sacrifices himself)

Red Skorpion Militia[ | ]

Image Text Prerequisites
With the treaty signed, the Red Skorpion Militia remains in control of 'Happy Valley' and Eastern Arizona, but Commander Danforth has begun initiating reforms, and the RSM are more closely following the rule of law these days, as well as actively cooperating with the Rangers, exchanging prisoners, and helping each other hunt down fugitives from justice. Negotiate a treaty with the RSM. (Canon Ending, confirmed by Angela and Pete, although it doesn't last long.)[3]
Because you left them in power and made no attempt to negotiate with them, the Red Skorpion Militia remain in control of the Prison area, and are still a force to be reckoned with in Eastern Arizona. Maintain the status quo (do not kill or ally the RSM with the Rangers).
Also, because of your indiscriminant slaughter of innocents while in 'Happy Valley,' the people of Eastern Arizona now have every reason to believe the RSM's anti-Ranger propaganda, and the area is now completely under RSM control. As such, the citizens have broken all ties with the Rangers, and you know nothing of what has become of the people you met there, since nobody is telling you anything. Maintain the status quo (do not kill or ally the RSM with the Rangers), kill civilians in the Prison area.
With Commander Danforth dead and the Red Skorpion Militia defeated, the Rangers established an outpost in the old prison and expanded their influence in Eastern Arizona, but RSM holdouts continue to harass them with IEDs and assassinations. Kill Danforth.
And because of your indiscriminant slaughter of innocents while driving out the Skorpions, the citizens of the area fear their new Ranger overlords more than they ever feared their old masters, and help the RSM holdouts every chance they get. Kill Danforth, kill some civilians in the Prison area.
With the conflict between the Rangers and the Red Skorpion Militia ending in a truce, but without anything really resolved, things are pretty much as they were before they heated up. The Skorpions remain in control of 'Happy Valley' and Eastern AZ, and they're still the same jerks they always were. And while there is no open fighting between RSM and Rangers, there is no cooperation either, and veiled threats and provocations continue on both sides. Negotiate a truce with the RSM.
One thing has changed, however. Because of your indiscriminant slaughter of innocents during the conflict, the people of Eastern Arizona have every reason to believe the RSM's anti-Ranger propaganda and the area is now completely loyal to the RSM. Thus, the citizens have broken all ties with the Rangers, and you know nothing of what has become of the people you met there, since nobody is telling you anything. Negotiate a truce with the RSM, kill civilians in the Prison area.
Though Commander Danforth died in the battle for Ranger Center, the treaty he signed with the Rangers is still being honored by the Red Skorpion Militia, who are busy deciding who their next leader will be.

The RSM have promised the Rangers that the reforms initiated by Danforth will continue to be upheld, and that they will more closely follow the rule of law, but the Rangers are keeping a close eye on them, just to be sure.

Negotiate a treaty with the RSM, kill Danforth.
Unfortunately, Because of your indiscriminate slaughter of innocents during the conflict, the people of Eastern Arizona fear the Rangers as much as they used to fear the Skorpions, and do not trust that they will be a civilizing influence on the region. Negotiate a treaty with the RSM, kill civilians in the Prison area.

Temple of Titan[ | ]

Sending the Titan Missile to the Diamondback Militia left them in charge of the canyon, which they are now calling Diamondback Canyon. The DBM run the canyon efficiently and ruthlessly, and as promised, it is very safe, but their tolls are so high that trade is still falling off. Send the missile to the Diamondbacks. (Canon Ending, confirmed by Gary Wolfe)
Sending the Titan Missile to the Diamondback Militia left them in charge of the canyon, and that hasn't changed now that Sadler has died while helping the Rangers in the battle for Ranger Citadel. His second in command picked up right where he left off, and the DBM continue to run the canyon effectively and ruthlessly. As promised, it is very safe, but their tolls are so high that trade is still falling off.

There has been a slight cooling toward the Rangers since the fight against the AI, however. It seems the DBM blame Sadler's death on shoddy Ranger tactics.

Send the nuke to the Diamondbacks, allow Sandler to get killed at the Citadel.
As ruthless as they are, however, no-one thinks of calling for the Desert Rangers to chase them out. Your casual slaughter of so many innocents as you travelled through the canyon has made them think that the DBM are a far better option. Consequently, the residents of the canyon have severed all communications with the Rangers, and you know nothing of what has become of the people you met there. Send the missile to the Diamondbacks, kill civilians.
You would have thought disarming a nuclear warhead would be a good thing, and maybe in the long term it will be, but for now, with the fear of Titan gone and the Diamondback Militia and the former Servants of the Mushroom Cloud at each other's throats and ignoring their duties as peacekeepers, chaos reigns in the canyon, with bandits and hijackers raiding caravans with impunity. Disarm the bomb, don't resolve the conflict between the DBM and Servants.
As bad as things are, however, no-one thinks of calling for the Desert Rangers to restore order. Your casual slaughter of so many innocents as you travelled through the canyon has made the residents fear the Rangers more than they do anarchy. Consequently, they have severed all communications with the Rangers, and you know nothing of what has become of the people you met there. Disarm the bomb, don't resolve the conflict between the DBM and Servants, kill civilians.
Disarming the nuclear warhead still left the Diamond Back Militia in control of the canyon, which they are now calling Diamondback Canyon, but their position is not as strong as it could be - and they have put the blame for that entirely on you. Nonetheless, the DBM run the canyon efficiently and ruthlessly, and as promised, it is very safe, but their tolls are so high that trade is still falling off, and, because of you, the Desert Rangers are not allowed to enter. Disarm the bomb, help the DBM destroy Servants.
Your accidental detonation of the Titan warhead inside Silo seven has had far reaching consequences. Though the radiation from the blast was contained within the silo and did not spread to Damonta, back in the Canyon of Titan, with the fear of Titan gone and the Diamond Back Militia and the Servants of the Mushroom Cloud at each other's throats and ignoring their duties as peacekeepers, chaos reigns, with bandits and hijackers raiding caravans with impunity. Accidentally detonate the bomb.
Somehow, because you sent a live nuclear warhead to a group of suicidal religious fanatics, the canyon has been turned into a smoking radioactive crater. Everyone who was living or traveling within the canyon when the warhead went off is dead, and all trade between the Arizona wastes and Damonta has stopped completely. Deliver the nuclear bomb to the Servants.

Damonta[ | ]

Because you so decisively dealt with the robot threat, Damonta is safe again and able to rebuild. The people who fled the danger have returned, businesses are reopening, and trade is beginning to pick up, though because the DBM are in charge of the Canyon of Titan, trade to the west is limited. Kill Tinker in Damonta, deliver the nuke to the DBM or otherwise leave them in charge of the canyon. (Canon Ending, confirmed by Tinker and Gary Wolfe)
Because you so decisively dealt with the robot threat, Damonta is safe again and able to rebuild. The people who fled the danger have returned, businesses are reopening, and trade is beginning to pick up, though because the Servants of the Mushroom Cloud nuked the Canyon of Titan, there is no trade with the east. Kill Tinker in Damonta, deliver the nuke to the Servants.
Because you so decisively dealt with the robot threat, Damonta is safe again and able to rebuild. The people who fled the danger have returned, businesses are reopening, and trade is beginning to pick up. Kill Tinker in Damonta, do not resolve the conflict for the canyon.
But your flagrant disregard for collateral damage as you fought the metal menace has left the people of Damonta with the impression that the rangers are bloodthirsty savages, and they want nothing to do with the rest of Arizona. Consequently, you have not heard what happened to any of the people you met there. Kill any civilians in Damonta.
Though you weren't able to protect Damonta from the robots, you did not abandon the town completely, and did your best to evacuate its citizens. The survivors are now living in a makeshift refugee camp, and are working together to come up with a plan to retake the town. Don't kill Tinker.
Sadly, despite your efforts on their behalf, your flagrant disregard for collateral damage as you fought the metal menace has left the people of Damonta with the impression that the Rangers are bloodthirsty savages, and they vow never to call the Rangers for help, no matter how bad their situation gets. Consequently, you have not heard what happened to any of the people you met there. Don't kill Tinker, kill any Damontan civilians.

Thanks to you, the Mayor is back in charge and working hard to reverse the damage done by the Jerks. His first order of business was to throw out Gekko, install a new bank manager, and start using scrap as the town's official currency again. Accounts have been reopened and people have money to spend again, causing the economy to thrive. His second order of business was to order the farmers to diversify their crops. Agave remains a small part of every farmer's yield, but all kinds of fruits and vegetables are being grown now, people are eating well, and there is plenty to trade to other communities. Rodia prospers. Return the town to the Mayor. (Canon Ending, confirmed by Pistol Pete in No Way Home)[4]
Because you left Dengler and the Jerks in charge, things only got worse for Rodia. With the farms growing nothing but agave and the Jerks forcing the townsfolk to work days in the fields and nights in the distillery, the whole town was soon dying of malnutrition and fatigue. And to add insult to injury, Dengler and the bank instituted a new policy where deposits could only be made in cash or bullets, but withdrawals were paid with scrip only redeemable at Rodia businesses, which by then were all owned by Dengler. It didn't take long for Rodia to collapse entirely, but by that time Dengler had moved on to greener pastures, leaving a ghost town in his wake. Do not remove the leather jerks from Rodia.
And the morale of the survivors of Rodia is even lower than one would expect because they had put their faith in the Desert Rangers as their saviors, and instead all you did was shoot the town up and abandon them. Kill civilians in Rodia, do not remove the leather jerks.
Because you helped cure the disease that was plaguing the town, the townsfolk were healthy longer, and therefore their lives of misery under the yoke of the jerks lasted longer. Out of a sense of duty, Dr. Horchata continued to work in the clinic until the town died, even though he felt like he was only keeping the Jerk's tequila machine running. Leave the jerks in charge, cure the plague.
Because you failed to cure the illness that was plaguing Rodia, it spread to all the workers and productivity was reduced to nothing, speeding the towns already rapid decline. To make matters worse, Dr. Horchata got sick and died while searching for a cure and was not able to ease the suffering of the afflicted. Leave the jerks in charge, don't cure the plague.
Because you left Chris Van Graas and the Jerks in charge, things only got worse for Rodia. With the farms growing nothing but agave and the Jerks forcing the townsfolk to work days in the fields and nights in the distillery, the whole town was soon dying of malnutrition and fatigue. And to add insult to injury, Van Graas and the bank instituted a new policy where deposits could only be made in cash or bullets, but withdrawals were paid with scrip only redeemable at Rodia businesses, which by then were all owned by Van Graas. It didn't take long for Rodia to collapse entirely, but by that time Chris had sucked as much money as he could from it and headed for Hollywood, where he blew it all on hookers and blow. He left a ghost town in his wake. Leave the jerks in charge, replace Dengler with Van Graas.
But it does not thank the Rangers. While the citizens appreciate the Rangers' part in chasing off the Jerks, they have too many bad memories of your bloodthirsty ways and hope you never come back. Return the town to the Mayor, kill civilians.
With the disease that plagued the town cured, the citizens of Rodia once again thrive, while Dr. Horchata continues to works to keep them happy and healthy. Get rid of the jerks, help cure the plague.
The town's recovery has been slowed however, because you were unable to find a cure for the disease that plagued it, which means that, though Dr. Horchata has found the source and prevented further infections, he could not cure those already affected, and almost a quarter of the town has died. Get rid of the jerks, don't cure the plague.
With all their leaders dead, the citizens of Rodia have held an election to elect a new mayor and Virgil won the vote. His first order of business was to install a new bank manager and start using scrap as the town's official currency again. Accounts have been reopened and people have money to spend again, causing to the economy thrive. His second order of business was to order the farmers to diversify their crops. Agave remains a small part of every farmer's yield, but all kinds of fruits and vegetables are being grown again, people are eating well, and there is plenty to trade to other communities. Rodia prospers. Get rid of the jerks, assassinate Sam van Graas.

With the Robbinson plot foiled and their custom of ritualistic cannibalism now a thing of the past, thanks to you, the Mannerites power and influence has begun to grow. Trade relations with other communities are expanding, and the Angel is becoming more integrated with Los Angeles as a whole. Foil the Robbinson plot, convince the Mannerites to abandon cannibalism. (Canon Ending, confirmed by Ananda Rabindranath)
But though they are grateful to you for helping them stop Tori's plan, the Mannerites were appalled by your brutal methods and hope you never return to the Coliseum – ever. Foil the Robbinson plot, convince the Mannerites to abandon cannibalism, kill civilians at the Oracle.
Though you helped the Mannerites foil the Robbinson plot and consolidate their power, their refusal to give up their custom of ritualistic cannibalism has proved to be a bad decision. Incidences of brain disease are appearing more frequently, and the rumor of the Mannerites' dark secret has begun to spread throughout Los Angeles, causing them to be shunned and attacked wherever they go. Their power and influence is shrinking rapidly. Foil the Robbinson plot, allow the Mannerites to remain cannibals
And while they are grateful to you for helping them stop Tori's plan, the Mannerites were appalled by your brutal methods and hope you never return to the Coliseum - ever. Foil the Robbinson plot, allow the Mannerites to remain cannibals, kill civilians at the Oracle.
Though you helped the Robbinsons achieve their dominance over the Mannerites and take over the control of the Angel Oracle, their selfishness and sharp dealing has alienated the communities they have established contact with, while fighting among their leaders is weakening them from within. All of this has resulted in less trade and fewer allies, and the Coliseum's influence and power in LA is rapidly shrinking. Don't foil the Robbinson plot.
And while they were happy to take credit for the atrocities you committed while putting them in power, your brutal methods have got them worried that you might one day try to make a power grab for yourselves, and they hope you never come back – ever. Don't foil the Robbinson plan, kill civilians at the Oracle.
Your slaughter at the Angel Oracle has left the old coliseum an abandoned ruin, with the fields gone to seed and the animals stolen by raiders. But no raiders or settlers have come to claim the place. The memory of what you did is still too fresh. The bodies still lie where they fell. There are rumors that it is haunted. Don't allow a team member to be taken hostage. Kill the sheriff, Mr. Manners, and all of the armed guards.

With peace between Hollywood and Griffith Park finally a reality, Ascension McDade and Veronica are working together to bring about reforms in both communities. For his part, Ascension converts the militia into security officers, charged with protecting the Bastion of Faith and nothing more. The Evangelists he orders to become doers of good works, manning soup kitchens and halfway houses in Hollywood. As for the Vigilants, they have become the Diligents, and have put aside the Gospels of James King in order to seek out and study older and more reliable bibles. Finally, he has freed the penitents, and commanded all his followers to take no more. Meanwhile, in Hollywood, Veronica reforms the HCC and turns the HSP into an actual police force, sending them to close down the salt lab and chase the salt dealers and slavers out of Hollywood. Under her guidance, the town is becoming safe for everyone, not just for the tourists. Put Ascension McDade in charge of God's Militia, Veronica in charge of the HCC, broker a peace treaty. (Canon Ending, confirmed by Mr. Funtimes Radio Broadcast)
With the threat of the God's Militia gone for good, potential tourists to Hollywood no longer have to fear being enslaved or attacked by the God's Militia on the roads outside of town. Consequently, they are coming in droves. Business is booming up and down the boulevard, and tourists are also flocking to Griffith Park to visit Heidi's big new peep show night club, the Observatory, where patrons can observe heavenly bodies in motion every night. And with Heidi firmly in control of the HCC, nobody is questioning how she gets things done behind the scenes, which is a good thing - at least for her - since half of her money comes from the underground salt lab and the slave rackets which she takes kickbacks from. It's good to be the queen. Wipe out God's Militia, leave Heidi in charge.
And while Heidi does not deny the part you played in helping her finish off the Militia, your casual attitude toward collateral damage has turned her off, and she no longer wants any help from you. In fact she has ordered the HSP to shoot you on sight. Wipe out God's Militia, leave Heidi in charge, kill Hollywood civilians.
With your help, Retribution Jones is now the leader of the God's Militia, and he's really made some changes, disbanding the Church Ecstatic and the Church Vigilant, and making the Church Militant the only branch of the church. And with the housecleaning done, he has wasted no time pursuing his crusade against the rest of the world. Hollywood has been burned to the ground and all of its citizens taken as slaves, and the Militia is marching on other areas as well. Glendale, Atwater, Wilshire, and the Angel Oracle are all in his sights. Put Retribution Jones in charge of God's Militia.
Drugs are against scripture, and therefore Jones has raided the salt labs in the sewers beneath Hollywood, destroying all the equipment, killing everyone who worked there, and also every addict he could find. Put Retribution Jones in charge of God's Militia.
With the threat of the God's Militia much reduced, tourists are now coming to Hollywood in droves, and business is booming up and down the boulevard. And while Ascension and Veronica were grateful for your help in bringing about the peace, your casual attitude toward collateral damage has made you untrustworthy in their eyes, and they want nothing more to do with you. Indeed, they have both ordered their troops to shoot you on sight. Put Ascension McDade in charge of God's Militia, Veronica in charge of the HCC, broker a peace treaty, kill civilians in either area.

And even though you were a little rougher than you had to be while you were helping him seize control, and there was a lot more collateral damage than strictly necessary, Jones understands that war is war, and you did what you had to do. He also expects that you will understand that now that he's in power, any military force he doesn't have direct control over cannot be tolerated, so the Rangers will be shot on sight. Nothing personal. Put Retribution Jones in charge, kill Militia characters.
With your help, Ascension McDade is now in charge of the Salvation Church, and is making sweeping changes. To begin with, he has reigned in the Militia, charging them to focus more on stopping raiders and bandits and leaving other communities and non-believers alone - including Hollywood, where Heidi remains in power. He has also urged the evangelists to stop inciting their followers to violence, and has turned the Church Vigilant, once torturers and interrogators, into the Church Diligent, suggesting they put aside the Gospels of James King and instead seek out and study older and more reliable bibles. The New Citadel is empty and quiet now, with all Matthias' followers either gone to Arizona or dead. Soon the scavengers will come, and strip the shattered synths and Dugan-bots for parts, but for now nothing moves there but the fluttering flags and Matthias' endlessly looping image on the monitors. 1. No Way Home, p.35: "The Agricultural Center was still standing, but in worse shape than Angela remembered. The strong outer wall was badly damaged and shoddily repaired in several places. Thick vines grew up and over the open gate, under the train track, and around discarded vehicles. Angela kept her finger near her rifle’s trigger. Nothing attacked her this time. She was relieved to hear Kathy Lawson’s voice when she buzzed the intercom, and more relieved when the other woman let them inside. After she said her thanks and made introductions, Angela asked, “Where’s Matt?”"
  2. No Way Home, p. 46: "Then he looked at Angela. “How is this even possible?” “It was Sean Bergin. Used to be the security chief at Highpool?” She shrugged. “I was with Team Echo when we went to mop up, after we saved the Ag Center. He was the last survivor, and I don’t know, he blamed us. Said something about his nephew, from years back, but that was the last I saw him until today. Minute he shows up, he orders his men to capture us.”"
  3. No Way Home p.34: "“The Red Skorpions used to be a gang,” Angela told him. “Calling themselves a ‘Militia’ was some fool’s way of making folks believe they were a respectable outfit, just so they could run scams on the farmers. Who they are now, though… it might not be the same. We saved Danforth’s dogs once. He was their leader. Ya know, in case it made peace.” “I met him at the Citadel,” Thomas said. “I can’t speak to what happened with the treaty the general wanted, after his passing, but this Danforth showed up when he was needed, which isn’t nothing."
  4. No Way Home, p.13: "“I appreciate that,” Angela said. “Where are we?” “Little town called Rodia. Used to be famous for our possum farm, now I guess people know us for being the place Rangers come to when they get shot.” The doctor snorted. “You wanna tell me about the leg?”"
